How much credit do I actually get?
Everyone who qualifies gets credit, and the amount is randomized between $15 and $500. Most people get $15. For the exact split Kalshi publishes: 70% get $15, 24% get $35, 5% get $75, 0.65% get $100, and 0.35% get $500.
Do I have to deposit to get it?
Yes. Open a new account through the button above, fund it, then put at least $25 through in trades within 30 days. The credit is added whether those trades win or lose.
Is Kalshi legit?
Kalshi is a designated contract market regulated by the CFTC, the same federal agency that oversees U.S. futures exchanges. It is not an offshore sportsbook. You can withdraw your balance any time.
Is it available where I live?
Kalshi operates nationally under federal regulation, but is currently not available in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, or Ohio. Everywhere else you will see whether you are eligible as soon as you start creating your account. You must be 18+.
Does claiming it cost anything?
